The size guide is intended for use with bipedal anthros and is divided between small, medium, and large sizes.
However, this is a rough guide because each species and its subspecies have many genetic variabilities influencing size. For example, an anthro wolverine could easily be considered medium sized, a serval could fall into the small category, a cheetah into the large, and a smaller than average wolf could fall into the medium category. There are many subtle variations but for the most part each species falls into one of the ranges described below.
Also Keep in mind subspecies variability. For instance, a black bear is going to be on the smaller end of its size range compared to a polar bear.
Another consideration is features of a species when deciding height and weight. The cheetahs, maned wolf, and serval all have exceptionally long legs and thin builds, translating into much taller and lightweight anthros. On the other hand, clouded leopards, raccoons, badgers, wolverines, and the like have stubbier legs and stockier builds which makes for shorter but heavier anthros. Then there is the weasel, marten, mongoose, jaguarundi, and otter with elongated torsoes with much variability in height and weight depending on torse and leg length of each species.
As you can see there is no cut-and-dry method for sizing anthros, so just use this guide plus common sense and you'll be fine, or ask if you're not sure.
Note: The size chart is still in the works and may not be 100% accurate. Hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon enough, but for now it should do. If you see anything that doesn't make sense to you feel free to bring it up for discussion.
